Non-staff writers who wish to submit an article to The Beacon are welcomed to do so. These articles should be submitted to The Beacon’s editors in chief, Abby Paras (08parase@aisgz.org) and Gabriel Kim (08kimj@aisgz.org) for further review to determine whether the article is written in good faith in relation to topic it discusses. In the past, most of these submissions have been pieces written for a particular class which teachers have deemed to be of merit. Although article submissions do not have to be a class assignment, The Beacon still maintains that these articles must be of a high quality and its content must be respectful and school-appropriate. Keep in mind that a sourced featured image should also be provided by non-staff writers, as well as a short bio blurb and a picture (cropped into a square).

Non-staff writers who continuously contribute or contribute more than one article may also join the freelance staff.
