Last week, on the Sunday of Super Bowl LVI, the Los Angeles Rams won their second ever Super Bowl against the Cincinnati Bengals 23 to 20 in front of a home crowd in Inglewood, California, at their home field of SoFi stadium.

The Rams needed more than 59 minutes to secure their victory. With Cooper Kupp receiving a short touchdown pass with 1.25 left on the clock to score for the final time, putting the Rams on top and sealing the victory.

In a post game interview, Rams head coach Sean McVay said, “I’m so proud of this group.”

However, this victory was planned well in advance during the previous off season, with the Rams roster being carefully crafted with a Super Bowl victory in mind. The Rams traded for Stafford, who previously played for the Detroit Lions. The team also signed Odell Beckham junior last November. These two members formed an offense that revolved around Kupp, who led the season in yards, touchdowns, and receptions.

Like previous years, the game itself was accompanied with a halftime show, with this year’s being completely centered around hip hop for the first time ever. The show featured Californian hip hop legends Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and Kendrick Lamar, as well as New York’s Mary J. Blige and 50 cent and Detroit’s Eminem.

Fans were certainly excited, with some hailing it as the best half time show ever and NPR television critic Eric Deggans called the show “the most Black centered halftime show in NFL history.”

When asked about his opinion on the Super Bowl, Senior Andrew Z. said, “The halftime show was certainly one of the best that I’ve watched in recent history, and the game itself was very entertaining, it’s certainly one of the Super Bowls of all time.”

Last but not least, the ads, with the coveted 30 second spots costing up to 7 million dollars each, up 1.4 million dollars from last year’s price. The advertisements featured countless celebrity appearances, with highlights being an Austin Powers reunion and an Amazon Echo that read the minds of celebrity couple Scarlett Johasson and Colin Jost.
