In the year 2020, rap as a music genre has become the most popular music genre in the music industry, featuring numerous artists and groups such as Drake and Nav. But here is my list of the top 10 best rap albums of 2020 yet with the greatest potential to become masterpieces of the decade.

My Turn Deluxe, Lil Baby

Lil Baby, as one of the most popular rap artists of the new generation of rap, released the album My Turn on February 28, following the deluxe version on May 1. This is Lil Baby’s second studio album. The album featured rappers such as Gunna, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne and more.

Eternal Atake Deluxe, Lil Uzi Vert

As one of the most anticipated albums of the year, Lil Uzi Vert delivered the album to his huge and loyal fan base. The album Eternal Atake was initially teased in 2018 with a snippet. The album was finally released on March 6, 2020, after two years of anticipation from Lil Uzi Vert’s fans. The album featured artists such as 21 Savage, Chief Keef, Future, and Gunna. With Lil Uzi Vert’s unique voice and rap style, this album can definitely find its place in the top 10 list.

Revenge of the Dreamers 3 Deluxe, Dreamville

The album Revenge of the Dreamers 3 was contributed by eight different artists from DreamVille record label, featuring popular artists such as DaBaby, Young Nudy, Ski the Slump God. The album was published on July 5, 2019, and then it was followed with a deluxe version on January 16, 2020. The album deserves its place on the list, because of the unique style that each artist delivers.

Good Intentions, Nav

As the third studio album of brown Canadian rapper Nav, the album Good Intentions was released on May 8, 2020. The album captured Nav’s distinctive voice and produced catchy rap songs. The album featured guest rappers, including Young Thug, Future, Gunna, and Travis Scott. Despite the hate and racist comments that Nav was receiving, he proved his haters wrong and showed them his potential in the music industry.

Wunna, Gunna 

Gunna’s sophomore album for his career, the rap album Wunna, was published under his record label YSL on May 22. The album featured rap stars from Travis Scott, Young Thug, to new rappers such as Roddy Ricch. As a rapper known for his numerous amount of features in other rapper’s albums, Gunna proved that he was capable of being in the solo artist spotlight in his own album.
