Korean Pop music has not only expanded throughout Asia in the last few years, but it has also reached the West such as Europe, North America, and South America. BTS, one of the most popular Kpop boy group in the world as of right now, has left the entire world SHOOK with their music and dance. BTS debuted in 2013 with their first album and has now become a worldwide sensation.

In August of this year, BTS took home the Billboard Top Social Award, which is their very first American award. Since then, BTS has only gotten more popular, and has gained attention from many well-known American artists such as Charlie Puth, Charlie XCX, Desiigner, Camilla Cabello and the Chainsmokers.

With the release of their newest album Love Yourself, BTS has not only climbed up the ranks and into the Billboard Hot 100, but has also been invited to perform their single “DNA” at the upcoming American Music Awards. This will be their first US debut performance ever and many artists have shown their excitement to see BTS perform. Along with “DNA,” their song “Best of Me” is a collaboration with the Chainsmokers—one of the many artists that they became friends with during the Billboard Music Award.

BTS has come a long way since their debut and has become role models for many upcoming Kpop groups. Their songs have evolved from just Hip-Hop to more of an EDM style. Many of their well-known songs include: “Blood Sweat and Tears,” “Fire,” “DNA,” and “Save Me”. Not only does BTS produce amazing music, but they also prove themselves to be perfect role models. On November 3rd, BTS announced their collaboration with UNICEF to promote their campaign ‘Love Yourself’ in which they aim to end violence against children.
