U.S. air strikes on Islamic State (IS) in northeast Syria killed four civilians and 238 oil trucks. Following Russia and France, the US decided to air-raid IS. The first air strike in 20th November killed four civilians, but as the air strike was on IS checkpoints, it did not violate any international law. This time the air strike was on 238 fuel trucks filled with oil. There first were warning shots to evacuate all civilian drivers, and pilots subsequently blew up the trucks. Getting rid of oil tanks is a part of the new tactic, Operation Tidal Wave II.
