Real Madrid 0-4 Barcelona, El Clasico
The two greatest rivals in the history of football faced each other in El Clásico in Bernabeu on Sunday November 21 2015.
11 minutes into the game, Luis Suarez of Barcelona scored the first goal. The striker finished from 14-yards with the outside of his right foot after being played in by Sergi Roberto. Neymar scored the second goal before halftime making it really tough for Real Madrid through out the first half of the match. Early in the second half Andres Iniesta made another goal making the score 3-0. Then, Luis Suarez scored his second goal reaching 4-0. Halfway through the game Real Madrid fans began waving white flags, feeling humiliated and unhappy with the team’s performance.
In memorial of the victims of the Paris attack a giant French flag was also raised above one section of the stadium while dignitaries, including Spanish prime minister Mariano Rajoy.
Barça boss Luis Enrique said after the match, “This victory is glorious, especially in the way that it came about, we were the better side and the triumph is down to us.” Iniesta said, “We only wanted to be ourselves and we have done that. We neutralised Madrid.” Overall it was an amazing game for Barça fans all over the world to enjoy.
