Owning a supercar is a dream amongst all boys. Supercar brands such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Porsche, Bugatti are dominating the rich, fast car market and are continuously innovating to create better cars that encompass luxury, and super sportiness. Here are some of the most recent top supercars:
1: Bugatti Chiron (2018)
Price: $2,998,000
Engine: W16, 8.0 L, 7993 cc quad turbo petrol, 1479 HP
Torque: 1180lb ft at 2000-6000 RPM
Top speed: 261 mph
0-60: 2.5 seconds
Economy: 12.5 mpg
Bugatti, a well-known luxury sports car manufacturer, has created its second generation of the Bugatti series, the Chiron. Chiron combines a futuristic and modern design to further stand the point of what a supercar is. Although Bugatti has a great reputation of having unique designs and also it’s pricing, Bugatti isn’t the only car who has the reputation of uniqueness and expensive vehicles. Other brands such as Lamborghini, Pagani, McLaren all have either the same or higher uniqueness and pricing. Overall, I would rate this car a nice 10/10 for its performance, design, and comfort compared to the rest of the cars on this list.
2: Lamborghini Veneno Coupe (2017)
Price: $9.5 million (2017) $4.5 million (2013)
Engine: V12 MPI (multi-point injection)
Torque: 507lb ft
Top Speed: 355 mph
0-60: 2.9 seconds
Economy: 17.21/100 km
Ah, Lamborghini, the iconic supercar brand used in many hip-hop songs. Lamborghini offers a different experience compared to the other supercar brands. Its insane futuristic design and exhaust sound are out of this world. The Veneno is a special, limited edition vehicle as only 3 are manufactured and the 2 gentlemen who bought the Veneno are happy to say it was worth it. I would give this car a 9/10. Although the looks of this car is alien to us, the comfort-ness of this car isn’t worth a daily driving car for a billionaire. I know this is a spaceship basically, but other supercars that are cheaper, faster, and more comfortable can easily beat the Veneno, but not the limited edition. 3: W Motors Lykan HyperSport (2017)

Lykan Hypersport is a Lebanese limited edition vehicle built by W Motors, a United Arab Emirates company, founded in 2012 in Lebanon with the collaboration of Lebanese, French, and Italian engineers. The Lykan is its one of a kind of W Motors featuring a futuristic design, outstanding performances while keeping the classiness and comfort-ness in the interior. Really can’t say much about this car, it just looks like it was built in 2030 and perform like it’s in 2020. With its price and performance and its amazing economy of 23.76 miles per gallon, I would give this car a 9.5/10.
4: LaFerrari FXX K (2017)
Price: ~$3 million
Engine: 6.3L naturally aspirated, 1,036 HP, F140 V12 with an electric motor
Torque: 664lb ft
Top speed: 217 mph
0-60: 2.8 seconds
Economy: not street legal
“Ferrari” has always been an amazing name to hear and say, especially LaFerrari FXX K. On September 6, 1939, Enzo Ferrari left his job at Alfa Romeo under the provision that he would not use the Ferrari name in races for at least 4 years. A few days later, he founded Auto Avio Costruzioni, a headquarters in the facilities of the old Scuderia Ferrari in Modena. Starting in 2014, Ferrari has created their first hybrid electric/gasoline car. The FXX K is a research and development car based on the first hybrid car, the LaFerrari. The K referring to Kinetic energy recovery system (KERS), which allows maximum performance from this car. Although this car is not able to compete in official races, it is being sold to the public for track racing with a production of only 40 cars. This car is not legal on the streets because it does not have a holder for the license plate, which is a bummer. The LaFerrari FXX K looks stunning in the picture, and I bet looks even better in person. I would rate this car a 10/10 for looks and performances.
5: Pagani Huayra (2017)
Price: $1.1 million
Engine: Twin-Turbo V12, 6.0L, 720 HP,
Torque: 738lb ft
Top speed: 238 mph
0-60: 2.8 seconds
Economy: 12 mpg
Pagani is known for its iconic hyper-sport/supersport designs and it’s quad exhaust mid-pipes. Pagani Automobili S.p.A is an Italian manufacturer of sport, super, and hypercars and carbon fiber. The company is quite new as it was founded in 1992 by Argentinian Horacio Pagani. The Pagani Huayra is the successor of Pagani Zonda and it is named after Huayra-Tata, a Quechua wind god. It was also named “The hypercar of the year 2012” by TopGear. For my taste, this car doesn’t suit with my standards. The car isn’t meant for driving on roads, going to stores to pick up groceries, not like the Ferrari or possibly an Aston Martin. Comfort-ness rating: 5/10. For the design, it’s unique compared to other brands. Pagani is the first supercar brand to showcase the quad exhaust pipes. Many car enthusiasts love the design from Pagani and Pagani is the only brand that offers the factory built quad exhaust. With that, I would give the design a 10/10. Overall, an 8.8/10 for performance and “eye-candy” designs.
6: Lamborghini Centenario (2017)

Engine: V12 naturally aspirated MPI, 759 HP

The Lamborghini Centenario is a tribute to Mr. Ferruccio Lamborghini 100th birthday. This masterpiece offers top-notch, latest technology, and a modern design. The Centenario only offers 40 models, 40 coupes, and 40 roadsters. This is a design that proves the concept “nothing is impossible.” There isn’t much to be said about this car, it’s beautiful, it’s fast, it’s powerful, the car offers the components any car enthusiast wants from a Lamborghini. Design: it’s a 10/10 with its futurism while keeping the old standard look of a Lamborghini. Function: another solid 10/10 with its roaring V12 and a fast 0-60 in 2.8 seconds. Overall, the car is fantastic to drive around on open roads, twist and turns, and of course, race tracks. I would give this car a 10/10.
7: McLaren P1 LM (2017)
Price: $4 million
Engine: V8 twin-turbo, 3.8L, 3799 ccs, 986HP
Torque: 723lb ft
Top speed: 217 mph
0-60: 2.4 seconds
Economy: electric: 11 km/100%, engine: 17 mpg
McLaren is a company that was an official Formula 1 team (F1). It is a British Formula One team based in Britain, UK, and was known for constructing Formula One car. Now, McLaren Automotive is a sports car/supercar manufacturer. It was founded by Bruce McLaren and is based at the McLaren Technology Campus in Woking, Surrey. The McLaren P1 is the fastest, best performance supercar for McLaren. With its stunning 0-60 in 2.4 seconds, no other models of the McLaren can be even close to the new record for the company. Its aggressive style and protruding designs will not miss anyone’s eyes when passing by. The McLaren P1 LM is a special car that offers the experience only professional drivers can take on the challenge. Overall, I would give this car a 9.5/10 due to the high pricing of this performance vehicle compared to other similar performance vehicle costing less than $4 million dollars such as the Bugatti Chiron, which only costs ~$2 million. The positive sides of this car are the design, comfort for the driver, and the performance. To known more about this car, check out this website.

Aston Martin is known for its affordable sports cars while keeping the sporty look and performing what it looks like. Aston Martin started way back in 1913 who was founded by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. The company’s main goal when starting was to create next level, high-performance vehicles for both racetracks and on the daily road. Aston Martin came a long way to be in the position of a sports car manufacturer. Now, the company stands still in the high-mid class to high-class offerings of sports cars ranging from the lowest of $118,000 to as high as the Aston Martin One-77, which is priced at $1.415 million. Overall, Aston Martin mainly focuses on the comfort of a daily driven sports/supercar yet, keeping the performance and looks. I would give this car a nice 9/10.
9: Zenvo TS1 (2017)

Engine: 5.9L Flat-plane twin supercharged V8, 1100 HP, 5800 cc
Torque: 1,050 lb ft

0-60: 2.8 seconds

The Zenvo company is pretty new to the car manufacturer market, founded in 2009. Currently, the company only offers one car, which is the Zenvo TS1. Surprisingly for its first model ever, it performs extraordinarily well for its pricing. 0-60 in 2.8 seconds, top speed of 233 mph and an amazing lb-ft of torque at 1,050. The design is absolutely stunning and aggressive at the same time. It’s like we don’t know how to react when we first see this car. Surprised? Or terrified? Overall, this car is just amazing for its first ever model. With its cheap price compared to its competition, the car deserves a 10/10. If you are interested in this car, check out this article.
