Stormi Webster is Here!

After 9 months of mystery and anticipation, the news of Kylie Jenner’s pregnancy and baby girl has finally been revealed.

On the 1st of February, 2018, Kylie Jenner of the famed Kardashian-Jenner clan gave birth to a healthy girl. She only revealed this news to her fans on the 6th of February with multiple posts on all her social media platforms with posts apologizing to her fans for not sharing the news earlier.

The next day, on the 7th of February, Jenner revealed her baby’s name to be Stormi in an adorable Instagram post of her baby holding her thumb. Later, she edited the caption to read “Stormi Webster.” Jenner’s current boyfriend, rapper Jacques Webster, who performs under the pseudonym Travis Scott, is known to be the father of the baby. There is still speculation whether Stormi will take on the Jenner name as well.

Jenner also shared a video created by Travis Scott titled “To our Daughter” which consists of videos from Kylie’s Friends and family along the ride, as well as a special moment when Travis Scott’s mother is on video crying after hearing the baby’s heartbeat for the first time.

Although it may seem like a new member in the huge Kardashian-Jenner family is nothing surprising since Kim, Khloe and Kylie were all suspected to be pregnant at the same time, the youngest and arguably most connected to social media managed to keep her pregnancy a secret for the entire term. Kylie Jenner is known to post everything that is happening in her life on snapchat or some other form of social media, however, for this momentous occasion, she chose to leave her fans completely in the dark.

According to Inquisitr.com, Jenner stayed away from social media because of her weight gain, however, many believe that she actually did so because she “was afraid of being judged for being a young mother.” She has repeatedly admitted that she is quite sensitive and simply did not want to hear criticism in such an important time.

Overall, there is a strange atmosphere around the situation because everyone somewhat knew or at least believed that Jenner was pregnant, but upon hearing that she truly is pregnant, everyone was still surprised and shocked.
