March For Our Lives

On March 24th 2018, a march all over the United States took place to stand for tighter gun control laws. Ever since the school shooting that took place at Stoneman Douglas High School on February 18th, US citizens have been adamant about making a change in the country’s gun laws. There have been many protests all over, including the #enough walkout which took place on March 14th, to take a stand against the laws and as an attempt to begin to change the country’s outlook on guns and gun’s accessibility. This “March For Our Lives” protest had an estimate of 1,200,000 to 2,000,000 participants from all over the country. The main march was in Washington D.C. to spread awareness to the US government and this specific protest had an estimate of 500,000 participants in just this one single location. This “March For Our Lives” protest, which took place all over the United States, was believed to be one of the largest protests in US history.
