APAC Theater

This year we hosted the APAC Theater in our brand new theater! It was a great event full of fun, collaborative activities from different international schools. You can find out what our students thought about the APAC Theater this year and read more about it in David’s article on The Beacon.

IB Art: Balancing The Chaos

The IB art exhibit took place on March 27th. This event is where the senior IB art students display their art projects that they’ve worked on in the past 2 years. This year, the exhibit was set in our theater, thanks to the students, the theater was transformed into a beautiful museum, full of their pieces. This year’s theme is balancing the chaos. Quiz Bowl Asian Championship 

Congratulation to AISG Quiz Teams! During the month of March, Quiz Bowl has been busy going and winning tournaments. On March 10th, AISG sent 3 teams to The Quiz Bowl Asian Championship tournaments. At the tournament, Quiz Bowl A team received third place and Caroline Mao and Stanley Wang received the Top Scorer Award for their performance. This tournament also qualified the AISG B team for the High School National Championship this year in Atlanta. You can find out more about it from Abby’s article on The Beacon.

Battle of The Books: 2018 Edition

Congrats to our Battle of The Books team! On March 13th, a team of 6 high schoolers went to Nansha Collegiate Preparatory Academy for the Battle of The Books. They were against Clifford International, Zhuhai International, and NCPA. The team won second place out of 10 teams. Quiz Bowl Guangzhou Invitational

Congrats again to the Quiz Teams! During March, our school also hosted our first Quiz Bowl tournament called Guangzhou Invitational. The Guangzhou Invitational took place during March 24th. Our 3 AISG Quiz Teams played their best and won second place in the tournament, however, both Jacky Liu and Caroline Mao received the Top scorer award for first and third in individual performance.  You can read more about it in Abby’s article on The Beacon.
