• Bookmarks: 472525

Some high school students choose their college based on the ranking or reputation of the college without any background information. This method of selecting the college causes students to eventually get rejected in the application process or even drop their classes. Therefore, attending college visits before applying to a university is always a wise decision. This September, AISG provides an opportunity of college visit to the following colleges: University of Aberdeen, University of Dundee University of St Andrews, University of Glasgow University of Strathclyde. The due date for signing up is September 4th so please check your email and don’t forget!

College visits are a great opportunity for students to learn about the universities that they are planning to apply. Visiting the college allows the students to establish firm opinion on the college. These opinion on the college helps students to make a wise decision when it comes to choosing their colleges.

There are some valuable tips on the internet which students can keep in mind in order to maximize their experience in the college visits. Two valuable tips on the internet I found helpful are: Talk to students around the campus and visit the department that you are interested in. By actively interacting with the members of the college, students can avoid bias statements or rumours on the internet and can receive a honest opinion from the college members.

Today, most of the high school have excellent college visit programs that provide different perspectives on the college . Visiting colleges could eventually help students to have broad choices of choosing their college. Obtaining information of the school is indeed helpful when choosing your college, however, college visits can provide a deep insight of the actual school life of the universities. AISG provides numerous opportunities where students can interact with the college members and ask questions, so do not miss your opportunities!
