Boys Volleyball Tri-Cities Champions

Victory at last! About two weeks ago, the 2018 boys volleyball team broke the curse and finally won first place in a Tri-Cities tournament.

Since the Tri-Cities program was created, the AISG boys volleyball team has never won a Tri-Cities tournament. The previous year, they finished last place with 4 freshmen and no seniors; this year’s team was the same, the only change being the addition of another 6 foot giant. The Tri-Cities Tournament was hosted by The  Western Academy of Beijing (WAB) and the tournament was attended by the top schools from Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.

Our AISG boys volleyball team competed against The International School of Beijing (ISB), Shanghai American School (SAS Pudong), and Western Academy of Beijing (WAB). Led by Adam Tomassen, our volleyball boys made history by defeating every team in the tournament and being the first AISG boys volleyball team to win this annual tournament. Major shoutout to Eagle, Javin, Alex, and Oliver for being here since their freshman year, and finally getting that Dub. This goes to show the hard work that the current senior boys have put in to this game.
