Season II of sports is in full effect at AISG. Practice has been ongoing for a month now and each team has steadily become better and better, and improving their skills. As a first test of their skill, the basketball team will be hosting the Tri-cities tournament here at AISG, and the swim team have a meet on Saturday, December 1st. Tri-cities basketball will be hosted here at AISG from November 30th to December 2nd, and we will be hosting SAS Pudong, WAB, and the NBA school.
Mulayne L. a junior on the swim team, says that, “[she] is really excited because this is the first in-season meet. It gives us (again if you’re going to quote in third person change all personal pronouns, so “us” becomes “[them]” a chance to practice in a race setting before APAC.” AISG has been winning this meet for the past 2 years, and “they hope to win again.” Best of luck to our swim team and we hope that they get first place again!
Javin L. a senior on the basketball team, says) that, “This Tri-cities will really test our skills and our teamwork. If we don’t show up to every game ready to play, we get wrecked. I am confident in our team.” Tyler K. a sophomore on the basketball team, says that, “I am excited for Tri-cities because it is a time away from school, focusing on something else that isn’t school work. We also get to build relationships with not only our team but also other players from other schools.” WAB, SAS Pudong, and the NBA school will all be here at AISG, with the first game starting on Friday, November 30th.
