Celebrity weddings have always attracted attention and the wedding of American pop singer Justin Bieber and model Hailey Baldwin took place in South Carolina on September 30, 2019. However, the process of this wedding was not easy.
Hailey and Justin have known each other for over a decade. Previously, the couple dated around 2016 for a short period of time, but things ended very badly. However, they reconnected in 2018 during a conference in Miami.
In the summer of 2018, Justin proposed to Hailey while traveling to the Bahamas and she accepted. Later on social media, Justin Bieber commented on a post, saying, “You are the love of my life, Hailey Baldwin, and I wouldn’t want to spend it with anyone else.”
On September 13, 2018, a photographer caught Justin and Hailey holding hands as they headed into a marriage registry to receive their marriage certificates in New York. It was that autumn where they had their first small private “wedding.”
However, the actual wedding date was postponed indefinitely because of Justin Bieber’s poor mental state. They had been waiting for Justin to feel better before planning the wedding. Hailey was very sympathetic to Justin’s depression and feelings, providing him with a lot of help and support. Around June, Justin has recovered from his “slump” and announced the wedding on September 30.
Hailey’s wedding dress was another hot topic for the past month, since she asked the Off-White brand designer Virgil Abloh to help design her wedding dress. This customized Off-White wedding dress was a symbol of a new stage in Hailey’s life. The strapless long-tailed wedding dress design is accompanied by a long headdress with the words “Till Death Do Us Part” embroidered at the end.
Baldwin later thanked the designer Virgil Abloh on Instagram after the wedding and said she would be “forever grateful” for being able to wear a “beautiful creation” customized and designed for her.
