Usually when scientists have a disagreement, they settle their dispute in a civilized and refined manner, involving meticulous research and logical scientific evidence…but there are some things they can’t communicate through words, some things they have to settle with fists!…or maybe their wheelchair?

WOW! STEVE! BUDDY! WATCH THAT WHEEL CHAIR!!!

On April 9th, Superinteressante, a Brazilian science magazine, published Science Kombat—a hilarious, side-scrolling, one-on-one, combat game—with Pixel Art animations. Diego Sanchez, pixel artist, attempted to recreate some of the greatest scientific minds with combat techniques relating to their discoveries and contribution to major scientific breakthroughs; the results: 7 crazy scientists plus one final boss with polished and smooth animations that can all fight incredibly well. Each character possesses 6 basic attacks and 2 special techniques, all of which are related to the characters scientific achievements.

All of the 7 scientists are designed with their contribution to the scientific community in mind, as Sanchez has stated himself on his website (http://www.diegosanches.com)
