Between October 24 October 25, the APAC tennis team, volleyball team, and Cross-country team returned to Guangzhou with many awards. Those three teams came back with two sportsmanship awards, one medal for being in the top 10, and three third-place trophies. The season 1 teams definitely made AISG proud!

The APAC girl’s Tennis team won the third-place trophy after participating in the individual and partner games. Next year the boy’s Tennis team will, hopefully, bring home a trophy. Overall, both the girl’s and boy’s teams did exceptionally well and represented AISG very well.

“This was my first APAC due to Covid-19 and it by far exceeded my expectations. It was a lot of fun getting to meet and play tennis against other schools. I think it was an amazing learning experience for me as a player and a teammate and I’m looking forward to future APACs.” Said grade 11 Becca H.

For APAC Cross country, they traveled to Chongqing Wetland in Shanghai and ran a 5km course. Even though the course had its difficulties, each member overcame it and did their best!

“Though the race itself was stressful and frightening, the opportunity to spend time with teammates is treasurable.” Said senior Karen W.

Last but not least, the APAC boy’s and girls’ volleyball teams brought back two third-place trophies and two sportsmanship awards. The 21-22 volleyball girls and boys team did wonderfully and hopefully next year AISG can be 2nd place! Go Rams!

“Apac Volleyball was by far one of the best athletic experiences I’ve had. I’m definitely going back next year. ” Said grade 10 Carson A.
