On November 5, AISG’s student council hosted their annual talent show in the theater of our Science Park Campus. Tickets were sold around the school throughout the week for 30 RMB.
This year, AISG had a wide variety of students performing in the show performing on stage and displaying their unique talents. Due to last year’s hybrid experience – virtually and in-person- everyone was hyped up and excited for the first in-person talent show in a while and the excitement was for good reason.
“As part of the backstage, I could not get the best view, but I could hear and see how the audience was captivated by the various performances which meant for all of us (StuCo) that the talent show was a success.” Said Hannah P. a sophomore at AISG and a member of the student council.
Students in middle school and high school displayed their unique talents ranging from singing, playing the drums, and even playing OSU ( a musical game online). Teachers like Mr. Huang and Ms. Erica also decided to incorporate musical performances into the show, which was met with loud approval from their fellow students and fans.
“I felt nervous to before I got on stage but as soon as I got on the stage and heard my friends hyping me up, I felt amazing, and all the nervousness disappeared.”, said Ross V. a freshman and performer from AISG.
