Naruto Glides his way into Fortnite in Epic Season 7 Reveal

Naruto and Team 7 has arrived in Fortnite after much anticipation. This collaboration that came seemingly out of nowhere, has fans laughing at popular characters from the anime dancing and emoting.

Ever since the release of the Naruto Shippuden skins into the Fortnite shop, popular characters Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kekashi have been available as playable skins in the battle royale.

On top of the playable skins, Fortnite also has a Naruto glider, two new emotes, and two new loading screens for fans to enjoy.

Naruto themed skins aren’t the only new things that is coming to Fortnite from the Naruto universe. Famous weapons from the popular anime series, such as a throwable paper bomb kunai is being added to game alongside the cosmetics.

Also, players will be able to meet Kakashi Hatake as a NPC on Fortnite island and get quests from him.

Lastly, there will also be an entire Naruto themed creative map built like the Hidden Leaf Village from the anime that will be available to explore.

As Fortnite adds Naruto to its extensive list of collaborations with other massive entertainment brands such as Marvel and Rick and Morty, it begs the question of what’s next.

Epic Games, the developers of Fortnite, don’t seem to be stopping with collaborations, despite many fans being seemingly fed up with the sheer amount of gimmicky and over the top collaborations.

However, despite protests from a small minority of players, generally, the collaborations are very well received and make Epic Games money, boost Fortnite’s already massive player count, and brings media attention and new players to the game.

When asked about the collaboration, senior Andrew Z. said, “I like it, it seems pretty fun.”

Similarly, senior Savyasachi S. said, “I’m excited to see what Epic Games has planned for the future.”
