Trump VS Clinton

In March 16th, Donald Trump released an attack advertisement targeted towards Hilary Clinton. Being Trump’s main rival for the presidency, Clinton was subjected to a humiliating video comparing her to a dog.

The 15 second video was released on popular social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Although the video wasn’t televised, releasing it on social media opened it up to a very wide audience due to the digitally focused society that we currently live in. The video starts off with the statement ‘When it comes to facing our toughest opponents’. After this, clips showing Putin wrestling and a threatening message from ISIS are shown. These videos are promptly followed up with another statement, saying ‘The Democrats have the perfect answer’. Afterwards, a clip showing Clinton barking like a dog is shown, which is followed up by the statement ‘We don’t need to be a punchline!’.

Trump displayed his full intent to attack Clinton in this ad, as he mocked her actions and used those actions against her to show why he believes why she would not be a president with authority and honour.

As Trump progresses successfully through his campaign, he seems to be feeling convinced for victory for the upcoming general election showdown against Clinton. The making of these blatantly offensive advertisements showcase his oozing confidence.
