Online learning can be a pain: students can sometimes forget their work at school, struggle with slow internet, or find a variety of other issues. The many problems faced by online learners often cause students to become a little lazy, and the laziness only makes online learning more of a struggle.
There are many tips online on how to survive online learning and what’s the best thing to do as an online learner, but not all of those tips work. Here are some student-tested tips that will help you to survive the world of online learning:
Tip 1: If you don’t already have either a digital or hard copy planner/calendar, now is the time to get one. If you have a planner/calendar, that gives you a place to write down all of your deadlines for your assignments and what classes you have at what time.
Tip 2: Always pay attention in class… don’t become lazy because eventually you will have to come to school. If you come back to school and you weren’t paying attention in class while you were online and you have a test, it will be very difficult to get a good grade on a test that you know nothing about.
Tip 3: Never be afraid to ask your teacher a question, but remember to do it in the day time and during school hours! If you don’t understand the answer to a problem or you didn’t understand what the teacher was talking about in class then simply ask them. You’re one message away from figuring out the answer to your problem.
Tip 4: Time-management. This is crucial for any students who don’t want to be stressed out about finishing 5 assignments in one night. To prevent having to rush assignments at the last minute, use a planner to better organize your time and workload.
Some of these tips might or might not work for you, depending on the type of learner you are. But if you try some of these tips, you’re likely find some good end results!
