From March 10 through 12, the soccer teams traveled to the Western Academy of Beijing for the annual Tri-Cities tournament.
The tournament started off with the girls playing against the Shanghai American School of Pudong and resulting with a tie of 1- 1. The second game against Western Academy of Beijing was 2 – 6 and the third game against Internation School of Beijing was 1 – 2.
Sara Quattrocchi, a player for the girls soccer team, said, “It (Tri-Cities) was quite good, to be honest. Better than the past years, at least that’s how I felt because we played better and I’m looking forward to playing against more teams.”
Even though they tied 1 school, lost to 2 schools, and placed 4th in the tournament overall, our girls soccer team is still growing stronger and preparing themselves for the upcoming super APAC tournament. In preparation for approaching super APAC, Sara commented, “I really want to improve my fitness for the intense super APAC, because that’s the thing I struggle with the most.”
Make sure to come and support our girls soccer team!
