Faculty Take Flight: Ms. Saunders

• Bookmarks: 552557

As the school year comes to an end, AISG must reluctantly say good-bye to some of its beloved teachers, who are continuing forward in their careers. Mrs. Sarah Saunders is among these departing teachers. Mrs. Saunders has been working as a learning support teacher for the past two years, and claims that she has enjoyed her experience at AISG, and above all the students.

Mrs. Saunders has enjoyed the comfort and friendliness of the AISG community, and was fond of how “[she] and her students had a community of their own.” Over the two years that Mrs. Saunders has been at this school, and has developed a strong relationship with her students. She has seen her students grow from their struggles, and show substantial improvement. Mrs. Saunders works with students with special needs, those who sometimes struggle in their education, and  “their growth has meant everything” to her. Mrs. Saunders is happy that she has been able to aid these students in their development.

Mrs. Saunders will continue to teach special needs students at her next job but has currently decided to take some time off, and go home to Virginia. She plans to now work a part-time job as a teacher until she can find a permanent position in at another international school.

Mrs. Saunders has contributed much to help students at this school and is still amazed by the skill and raw potential of her students. She hopes to visit AISG later, and once again be astounded by the AISG community.
