A Great Start to the Basketball Season

• Bookmarks: 301523

T_initialThe boys and girls basketball teams played The British School on the 11th of November, which was last Wednesday. Having successful practices ahead of the game and a good warmup on game day, the rams were able to play well on both fronts. There was nervousness and tension before the whistle blew, but as the game went on, full court presses and lock down defense proved to be one of the biggest assets for the Rams against BSG. Running offensive plays and quick ball rotation across the court proved helpful. In the end, both the girls and boys teams were victorious by over a 40 point margin. Starting the basketball season with a win will add immense confidence and passion into the game. Unselfish plays and always looking for the open man was a huge contributor to the stack of points for the Rams. This isn’t it, though—the Rams haven’t reached their peak just yet.

Going ahead the Rams will be playing schools from different locations in Asia, at the Super APAC. The weeks of December will be featuring quite a lot of games and challenges for boys and girls. Having back-to-back games in Tri-Cities and popular teams such as the NBA School facing them, our Rams will confront challenges, at the same time providing exposure for the new recruits.
