On August 24, the 9th grade StuCo elections took place in room 327-328. 10 candidates competed for 4 different spots in the student council of AISG. All of the candidates came prepared with various proposals and promises to try to win over the audience.
Some candidates were very general in their proposals, such as Kathleen Weng and Ben Kim. They promised that “your opinions will be collected to make improvements for a better school life,” and that they wished “to offer a better school life to all the students here at AISG because everyone, truly deserves it.” However, some students were more detailed in their proposals, such as Ishita Agarwal, who said, “I propose to add a snack bar on the 3rd and 4th floors.”
