Apple Airpods Max, Goofy Looking but Secretly Lit?

Recently, Apple has released a new product within the Air pods lineup named the “Air pods Max” priced at a ridiculous 550 US dollars. The real question is whether that hefty price tag is worth it.

People online seem to think not, with multiple tech reviewers stating that the sound and extra features such as noise-canceling are great, but the device itself is quite expensive for what it offers. The main complaint many have with the Airpods Max is how heavy they are, but David Carnoy from Cnet claims they are “surprisingly comfortable.”

Multiple people have also noted their peculiar shape, with Junior Borui C. saying, “they’re shaped funny.”

The new Airpods max has similar features to the last generation Airpods Pro, such as active noise canceling and the well-received transparency mode. However, these features now take the shape of a pair of headphones rather than earbuds. These headphones are not normally shaped either, with Apple claiming that the specially designed shape of the headband provides “an uncompromising fit” and “creates the optimal acoustic fit.”

Junior Alex K. says, “Firstly, I personally believe that wired headphones and earbuds are superior to wireless headphones and earbuds and that any new installations of wireless headphones are useless and especially the Airpods Max, which is way too overpriced for what it offers, with other companies such as Bose and Sony offering the same or better product for much cheaper.”

Andrew Z. echoes Alex’s statement, saying, “I feel like the Airpods Max is overpriced, but it’s Apple, so people will still buy it anyways, and Apple isn’t exactly known for making products that are not overpriced.”

Savyasachi S. agreed with Andrew, saying, “It’s expensive and definitely not for me, as a lot of the features that Apple advertises heavily are iPhone exclusive and I cannot access all these important features such as noise canceling and transparency mode on my Android phone.”

All in all, the Airpods Max is the next premium Apple audio product to add to their lineup and they have been relatively well-received, which is surprising given how many people mocked the Airpods Max design.
