OnePlus is probably a brand you’ve either never heard before, or one that has been buzzing around the technology sites for a while already. It is known for its unbelievably cheap priced phones, with high quality specifications that are packed under its unique design. Both the OnePlus One and the OnePlus Two were known as the “flagship” devices of the startup Chinese company, but merely a few weeks ago, its newest “cheap” device was released, in a new algebraic form – OnePlus X.

The phone looks as if it were an iPhone 4 increased in size and installed with Android operating system. Its comes with a 5 inch screen that is stuffed into a similar size as the iPhone 6s, which on the other hand has a smaller screen of only 4.7 inches, and also brings the pencil-like thinness of 6.9mm. An addition to its compact and easily handled body is the sandwiched glass panels covering the front and the back of the phone, which brings back the classic iPhone 4 feel. On the back of the phone is a 13mp camera, which is capable of taking beautiful shots, while on the front is a 8mp (yes 8mp, same as the rear camera on the iPhone 6) for amazingly clear selfies. And for the finale, the price has been revealed as ¥1499 (RMB), which is only one third of most of the smartphone available on the market today.

So, if you want to get your hands on this cheap yet fancy glass covered phone, you probably will need to wait until late November or early December. Luckily, you will most likely be living in China, where the phone will be available on OnePlus’s website (http://www.oneplus.cn/) without its infamous invite system, which will be required outside of mainland China.
