Bose vs. Beats: The Clash of the Headphones

Bose and Beats are 2 of the most popular and well known audio brands of today. Beats is a new brand that started in 2008 by famous rapper Dr.Dre and it is heavily advertised by famous athletes and musicians, which has helped the brand gain the popularity it has today. On the other hand, Bose is a brand with a long history as it was founded in 1964 by Amar Bose and it is most known for its speakers and noise cancelling headphones.

Even though Bose and Beats are the two most popular audio brands, their products are very different. Beats products usually have a big spectrum of colour such as red, white, gold, black, among others, while Bose products only have subtle colours such as black and grey. Bose focuses on the quality of the audio in their products, while Beats focuses more on the aesthetics of their products, which attracts the younger generations much more. Both brands are similar in pricing and the headphones all have noise cancelling capabilities but Bose’s is more effective. With all this said, if you want better sound quality audio products you should buy Bose and if you care more about the look of the product and the popularity you should buy Beats.
