Although AISG is an international school, school events are not always culturally specific. However, Pulse decided to break out of the shell and celebrate diversity starting with India. The Pulse team continues with their trend of innovative ideas and beautiful decoration by setting an Bollywood/ Indian ball themed winter formal.
Some concerns among the student population about the dress code and food were raised, but Pulse clarified that students are not required to wear cultural specific clothes as the theme is all about freedom. As for the food, the restaurant will provide a deletable buffet.
Masakali means aspiring to fly high through peace and liberation. The name of the dance is Masakali, intended to promote freedom and peace in our spirits with all the heavy school work piled on students lately. The venue is at a beautiful Indian restaurant called Tandoor. 
Support Pulse and their new ideas by setting yourself free and going to the winter formal! Tickets go on sale on Wednesday January 11 during lunch. Tickets cost starts at 130 RMB per person. Make sure to buy your tickets ASAP because after Chinese New Year ticket price goes up to 150 RMB.
