C’mon High School, Show Your School Spirit!

Wanna show your school spirit? If so, next week is the perfect opportunity for you. You can show your school spirit through participating in StuCo’s Spirit Week.

Spirit Week will be all of next week from October 31st to November 4th. The purpose of this event is to unite the school by having students and teachers show their school spirit through dressing up for a different theme each day of the week. The five different days are halloween day, pajama day, breast cancer awareness day, (pink day), twin day, and hipster day. It is easy to be a part of this because all you need to do is come to school dressed according to the specific theme that day. It is a fun way to get involved in displaying school spirit. Also, the homeroom with the most participants will be awarded with a pizza party.

This is a fun event for the student body because it brings a little bit of spark to the normal high school day. Senior Lynn Maekawa, who is a StuCo executive, said, “StuCo wants to encourage school spirit and bring about a feeling of togetherness through this event.” So, be sure to help StuCo achieve this by showing up and participating next week.
