China’s Wuhan has the highest amount of people under the infection of COVID-19 as of February 22.
Doctors, nurses, and other medical staff from across China have flown to Wuhan to fight the Coronavirus and assist the local personnel in times of need.
Chinese hospitals and medical clinics have received support globally in the form of donations, volunteering, and other acts of great kindness.
In the Ram community, the Crossroads community service club has contributed and joined the global effort by donating 6000 RMB from the Crossroads Fund to doctors and nurses from Zhejiang who have been sent to Wuhan.
With the money donated to them, the doctors have since acquired 500 Medical N-95 masks, capable of filtering out COVID-19, ensuring that the doctors and nurses will remain healthy while carrying out their duties.
The students in Crossroads are glad that they could show their support in a meaningful way to the medical staff fighting the virus.
The Crossroads community service is dedicated to helping others in times of need and will continue to do so in the future.
They truly serve to show the kindness that we, as privileged individuals can give to the world.
