- Artist: SZA
- Genre: R&B
- Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
- If you like this, try this: Let You Down by NF
- Why I like it: This song is mellow and not very upbeat at all. But it’s a nice song to calm you down and study without being a distraction.
2. Ooh Lordy
- Artist: Youngr
- Genre: Pop
- Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
- If you like this, try this: Staying Up by The Vamps and Matoma
- Why I like it: Ooh Lordy is a great and fun song to dance to and get into a good mood when you feel down. The beat drop is a great way to lift you up.
3. Taxi
- Artist: EXES
- Genre: Indie
- Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
- If you like this, try this: Stargazing by Kygo
- Why I like it: Taxi is a really soothing and calming song about love in the most unlikely of places… a taxi. Listening to this song is a great alternative to Hip-Hop all the time as well.
4. Downtown
- Artist: Anitta and J Balvin
- Genre: Spanish & Portuguese Pop
- Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
- If you like this, try this: Mi Gente by J Balvin
- Why I like it: There have been many songs with Portuguese and Spanish lyrics and this song is one of them. It doesn’t have a beat drop but is very catchy, yet repetitive. It’s mostly about a couple being into each other.
- Artist: Juan Magán, Belinda, Manuel Turizo, Snova, B-Case
- Genre: Dance
- Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
- If you like this, try this: 3 A.M by Jesse y Joy
- Why I like it: It’s super upbeat and has a great beat drop. Also, it’s not very often when you find a song with so many talented artists working together to make an incredible song. It’s one of those songs where you don’t have to speak the language to love the song.
- Artist: Manuel Turizo
- Genre: Reggeaton
- Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
- If you like this, try this: El Perdón by Niki Jam
- Why I like it: The chorus is the only Spanglish part of the song, but it’s still really nice and not super upbeat, which is pretty nice because it shows that a really good love song doesn’t have to be insane.
7. Formidable
- Artist: Stromae
- Genre: Pop
- Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
- If you like this, try this: Alors on Danse by Stromae
- Why I like it: It’s one of Stromae’s more chill songs because it doesn’t have a crazy beat, which is pretty refreshing coming from him. I really like the meaning of learning not to judge that comes from this song.
- Artist: Stromae
- Genre: Pop
- Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
- If you like this, try this: papaoutai by Stromae
- Why I like it: This song is kind of like Formidable in the respect where it’s not as insane as most of his other songs, but it still shows Stromae’s originality
9. 給愛麗斯
- Artist: Eason Chan
- Genre: Mando-Pop
- Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️
- If you like this, try this: Fur Elise by Beethoven
- Why I like it: It’s cool that this song has some of the Fur Elise in it and basically copies the melody of it, but in my opinion, it’s kind of weird, but it doesn’t take away the fact that it’s catchy…
10.光年之外 (電影 《Passengers》 中國區主題曲)
- Artist: GEM
- Genre: Mando-Pop
- Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
- If you like this, try this: Twilight by JJ Lin
- Why I like it: I have no idea what she is saying, but there is no denying that this is a very nice song with a very powerful and talented vocalist.
- Artist: EXO
- Genre: K-Pop
- Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️
- If you like this, try this: If Only by Kim Na Young
- Why I like it: This is a nice song when you first listen to it, but it does get a little boring after a while… But it is true that the voices of the members of this boy group work really well together.
12. This Love
- Artist: Davichi
- Genre: K-Pop
- Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
- If you like this, try this: Don’t Say Goodbye by Davichi
- Why I like it: This song is very soothing and a great song to listen to even if you don’t understand the language.
13. Hard to Do
- Artist: Gavin James
- Genre: Pop
- Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
- If you like this, try this: Naked by James Arthur
- Why I like it: It really is a good song and Gavin’s vocals in this song are incredible as always. This love song is really emotional and touches the listener and is one of those slow songs that is great to just sit back and sing along.
14. Do Right
- Artist: Glades
- Genre: Pop
- Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
- If you like this, try this: Issues – Julia Michaels
- Why I like it: There is an awesome beat drop in the song, but it’s not one of those insane beat drops. It really suits the song and makes it even more enjoyable to listen to.
15. I Know You
- Artist: Craig David, Bastille
- Genre: Spanish Pop
- Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
- If you like this, try this: More Than You Know by Axwell /\ Ingrosso
- Why I like it: This song is about friendship and reminds you how great friends really are. This song, like many others in this playlist, doesn’t have much of a beat drop, but it’s a great song and differs from many songs nowadays.
