Stumped about what to get your loved ones without blowing all your cash? Here are some ideas for inexpensive presents.

• Personalised CD or Mixtape:
  • Burn a CD with songs that mean something to you and the recipient. Can’t be bothered to find a CD? Create digital playlists using http://www.8tracks.com 
• Homemade Meal
  • This is especially good for your family – show some gratitude to mom and dad this year by cooking them dinner on Christmas. If that’s too intimidating, try making them breakfast on Christmas morning, or bake cookies and cake.
• Frame some photos
  • Print out pictures from a trip or an event, or find some pictures of you and your family/friends. A tangible memento will be much more sentimental than online/digital photo albums.
