Hair4Hope

On International Day, the high school community service club Connect4Cancer hosted their annual hair donation event. Once again, it was successful and touching. Not only did the AISG community come together, but there were also many people from outside our community that took part in this event. This was a shocking yet a heart-warming surprise. Overall, we had 42 people donate their hair this year, with most people donating on site and a few donating in their personal time. The new sponsorship concept actually worked out as well! C4C raised around 3000 RMB for the Children’s Hope Foundation solely through sponsorships raised by the hair event. The Connect4Cancer team would like to thank all the hair donors for their bravery and selflessness.

If you would still like to donate your hair after prom, just bring it by Ms. Navis’ room anytime before June! If you don’t think your hair is long enough this year, Connect4Cancer will be hosting this event once again next year.
