Humans of AISG: Raymond W.

Raymond W. is a Junior at AISG who has a deep passion for robotics and food. You will most likely see him in the robotics room programming and planning for future tournaments. “I have fallen in love with robotics and technology ever since when I was a kid. I love drones, computers, and cool gadgets. That’s why I have joined the AISG robotics team,” said Raymond W. “I think in the future I will continue down the path on doing robotics.”

The reason why he enjoys robotics so much is because he can build his own gadgets, computer, and drones. The sense of accomplishment that comes with building and polishing figures such as robots are satisfying and makes him proud.

You may think: “Robotics is so useless!” or “What’s the point of joining robotics?” But to Raymond W., it is more than just a hobby. Already, he helps his friends out with different gadgets. Last year, he advised me into properly building a Personal Computer (PC) and helped me get the best gadgets needed.

Raymond W. also loves playing basketball in the gym during lunch as ” it can help [me] release stress from all the studying that we are doing in class. I love to play with my friend Bryan Y. because he is very competitive and I like to play with a challenging player.”
