IB Mocks are coming soon and our seniors will be taking this from March 15 to 22. A lot of seniors and their parents are stressed out and worried about their first IB Mock exams, where they have to study for two years of content of all subjects they have been taking.
This year, the seniors did not take the exams, and this made a huge impact. Since they did not receive an official opportunity to wrap up the content they have learned for all their subjects due to no exams, mock exams will be their first official wrap up exam. Mock exams will also determine many student’s final grades along with their final IB predicted grades.
Having an individual study space, planning when and what to study, discovering learning, reviewing and revising skills are what seniors are and should be doing for their mock exams.
Senior Carrie L. said, “I’m very stressed out because I know we don’t have much time. I started panicking and I’m starting to think about how I should study for this exam. I have organized notes from last year for content based subjects such as biology, economics, and psychology. This year, seniors didn’t have final exams so I don’t have organize notes yet.” Just like most seniors, Carrie L. is stressed and anxious about mock exams.
Good luck to all the seniors on mock exams!
