Winter break is coming, which means Christmas is near! To get you pumped up and in the Christmas spirit, here is a list of things you can do during your winter break!
- Watch Christmas Movies and drink hot chocolate: Sit on your couch with a cup of hot chocolate while you snuggle in your blankets and enjoy Christmas movies!
- Go (Christmas) Shopping: It’s Christmas! The best time to treat yourself to something you’ve been wanting for the entire year. Better yet, get your friends and families some gifts for Christmas.
- Start Decorating: Hang up stockings, mistletoes, and put up your Christmas tree! Dress yourself up with ugly Christmas sweaters or wear a Christmas hat! Anything to get you excited for winter and the break. Make paper snowflakes and get crafty!
- Play a Favorite Playlist Full-Blast: Take a break! You just finished a very difficult semester. Blast some of your favorite songs and sing along to them. I’d recommend some Michael Buble or Christmas songs to get you in the spirit!
- Write Cards: If you are a big fan of making people happy on this special holiday, write cards! Personalize each card with a special message for your friends and family. After all, it never hurts to give and see people smile.
- Go Out for a Walk: It’s always great to take a walk around and have a little time to yourself. Go out and take a walk at night or in the morning- whenever you want a refresher.
- Bake: From brownies to cookies, take some time off to bake and enjoy some sweets during the holiday. Here’s a list of tasty recipes you can treat yourself to during the break.
- Go Ice Skating: Christmas is a call for ice! Find an ice skating rink and go for a try. Have some fun on the ice even if you can’t get the White Christmas you wish for.
- Go Out for a Nice Dinner or Lunch: It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Plan a nice dinner or party with your family or friends and enjoy your time. Make yourself happy.
- Call Up a Friend You Haven’t Talked to in a Long Time: Skype, Wechat, or Facebook a friend you haven’t talk to for a long time and tell them you miss them. You’ll be surprised how long the conversation can last.
