ISIS terrorist Mohamed Emwazi, also known as Jihadi John was believed to be killed after leaving the building in Raqqa, Syria on Thursday night ( Nov 12 2015) by a US drone strike. According to several officials, the strike was considered to be “flawless”, “clean hit”, and Emwazi practically “evaporated” after that.

Emwazi participated in numerous videos showing the murders of U.S. and Japanese journalists, US and British aid worker. The results of the operation are being assessed and will be announced when the time is appropriate.

Although Emwazi’s potential death was satisfying, family members from the victims still consider it to be “really a small solace” (Diane Foley). The fact that the US government put in a greater effort going after one man than the effort they put in saving the hostages irritated the family members, bringing the US government a lot of critical comments.
