Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather will return to the ring once again on June 6 2021 for a special exhibition fight with the infamous YouTube sensation Logan Paul. The event will be broadcast live on a pay-per-bill basis and will be a historic match in boxing. Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul are going to box at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. With a month away still from the actual exhibition, the excitement for the battle has already reached its peak.

With the two fighters online and fan following around the world and the mainstream attention they are receiving, the fight between Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul will undoubtedly generate more than a million PPV purchases. The difference between the 2 is huge. Looking at their experience, height, weight and record, it’s a complete mismatch. It will be one of the most unexpected battles ever.

After Mike Tyson’s exhibition showdown with Roy Jones Jr. earlier this year, the world seemed to be beginning to take a keen interest in exhibition boxing, and soon after the Tyson fight Mayweather officially announced online that he would start a showdown with the well-known Youtuber Logan Paul, and the two sides had recently interacted frequently on social media originally setting the match on February 20th but got cancelled. Mayweather’s 2017 comeback against Conor McGregor, after retiring undefeated in 2015, continues to push the record to 50 wins and 0 losses, with the 2018 comeback with Japanese martial artist Tensin Nasukawa winning in a little more than two minutes with ease. But this time Mayweather gave up his body-sized advantage. As a professional boxer, Paul stands at 6 feet 2 inches tall and fights as a second-heavyweight boxer. In November 2019, Paul weighed 199 pounds and won his first career victory. In his 21-year career, Mayweather has never weighed more than 151 pounds, and Mayweather, who stands 5 feet 8 inches tall, began his career at 131 pounds, winning the super-lightweight, lightweight, ultra-lightweight and second-middleweight titles.

One of the most anticipated fight of this year, sophomore students Tracy Evans commented “Its obvious who is going to win. They are just doing this to earn money.” Be sure to tune in on June 6th and to watch this fight that will go down in history.
