November 1 marked the kick-off for AISG’s 2021 Fall Spirit Week. Spirit Week is Spirit Week is run by AISG’s StuCo to unite AISG’s community and enhance school spirit!
This fall, Spirit Week consisted of Halloween Day, Crazy Hair/Hat Day, Twin Day, Pajama Day, and Sports Day. Here are some photo highlights of the week.
Halloween
This year’s Halloween landed on a Sunday, meaning that students had to celebrate Halloween a day later. But this did not affect the amazing and creative costumes that walked through AISG’s hallways that day.
“My favorite part of Halloween is looking at everyone’s creative and funny costumes!”, said Vikisha G., a senior in the student council.
Here are some of the costumes spotted around campus for this year’s Halloween!
Crazy Hair Day
Some StuCo members came to school early to surprise students with free, non-permanent hair dye. The dyes were easy to apply and came in a wide range of shades, including blue, purple, pink, and silver. The dye was also easy-to-wash to ensure it didn’t stain students’ hair and clothing.
Twin day
Spirit Week in AISG cannot be complete without Twin Day. Twin Day has become one of the students’ favorite Spirit Days because it allows them to match their outfits with their friends. Students and faculty walked to school in silly or fashionable matching outfits.
Pajama Day
Pajama Day allowed students to got to school in comfy clothes, some even brought their plushies and blankets. This makes Pajama Day another fan favorite day in Spirit Week.
Freshman Christine, who is also a part of StuCo, says, “It’s very comfortable to come to school in your pajamas, but aside from that, it’s also interesting to see people outside of the normal school attire that they wear”
Sports Day
Last but not least, to conclude this year’s Fall Spirit Week on Friday, students came to school supporting their favorite sports teams. Some students paraded their best Rams sports gear. Go Rams!
