The new Marvel age has recently announced their future plans for their Phase 4 and Phase 5 movies. This feature laid out the schedule of the new films of Marvel Studios that are either in the state of production or in preparation for further developments.
Black Widow
After the death of Black Widow in the Avenger: End Game, many Marvel fans have been requesting a Marvel female solo movie. The red hair Natasha Romanoff, Black Widow, is an iconic female character that played an important role in many other major Marvel films. It would be a reasonable time to release a solo movie of Black Widow. In this solo movie, Black widow played by Scarlett Johansson recounts her past experiences as well as her family history, building a wholesome background story of one of the most important female characters in the Marvel Universe. Marvel Studio chooses to illustrate a story that mainly focuses on Natasha’s life as a spy before she became a part of the Avenger. The director of this exciting new film is Cate Shortland and the planned release date is May 7, 2021.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
As the Marvel studio explores more possibilities in terms of genre and characters, the film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will be the first kung fu film in Marvel Cinematic Universe. This solo movie features the protagonist Shang-Chi, who is a master in martial arts that was first brought to “life” in Marvel Comics in 1973. In 2019, Marvel announced that the director of this new genre will be Destin Daniel Cretton, and actors such as Simu Liu and Tony Leung are also being officially announced at San Diego in 2019. The current planned release date of this film is July 9, 2021.
The Eternals
The Eternals are a world of godly creatures created by Jack Kirby in the original Marvel Comics. Now Marvel Cinematic Universe is finally ready to explore these new characters. But many Marvel fans who are only familiar with the Cinematic Universe are confused with the question of who exactly are the Eternals? The Eternals, according to the early version of the 70s Marvel Comics, are creatures created from proto-humans by Celestials. Although it is said that The Eternals will be a film focused primarily on romance, it still paved the way for new potential villains in the other upcoming films. The current planned release date for this film is November 5, 2021.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
Doctor Strange already has a solo movie released in the Marvel Universe. However, the character Doctor Strange has played an important role in the Avenger movies. Now, an extension of the first solo movie is in development. It will be mostly illustrating Doctor Strange collaborating with Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch. It will be directly related to the Disney series of Wanda Vision according to the director Scott Derrickson. The current planned release date of this film is March 25, 2022.
