AISG changed dramatically over the summer break, making additions for the pathfinder, a new library, and more. One change that students won’t easily recognize is the charging stations on the second and third floor lounge. The new charging station is much safer, since students are required to swipe their ID card before the charging cabinets can open. By adopting the new charging stations, students can now safely charge computers at school.
There are 2 types of chargers that the charging station provides: MacBook Air charger and C-type charger for the new MacBook Pro. Many students come to the charging station during lunch and their free time to charge their computer. There is also an English instruction, which is helpful for students who are using this machine for the first time.
Kunwoo Jang, a senior in AISG, commented that the “new charging station is very convenient and safe to use.” Also, “many students forget to charge their computer at home” so the new charging station “will be very helpful for students.”
Overall, this new addition to the school helps students easily recharge their computers throughout the day.
