Nouveau Faculty!

We’ve said our farewells to the faculty who left our community the previous school year but it’s now time that we introduce a couple of new teachers who have joined our school community. Just keep in mind that there is another article with more new teachers!

Ms.Brown is our new counsellor who has joined us after the departure of Mr.Menton. After interviewing Ms.Brown, I came to know that she came to Guangzhou from Alexandria in Virgina and is originally from New York. Ever since she’s come to Guangzhou, she has enjoyed exploring the city and has said is similar to some of the other places that she has travelled to. Speaking of travel, Ms.Brown considers travelling as one of her hobbies and has been to many places. Her hobbies also include reading, visit museums and festivals as such. In terms of new adventures, she says that she isn’t the most adventurous person around and prefers observing and learning new things and has made it clear that she ‘doesn’t plan on zip lining anywhere anytime soon’.

Meanwhile, Mr.Kissi, a new French teacher to join the faculty has gained a many students’ attention with his use of music in his classes which engage students further. Before coming to Guangzhou, he taught at Caracas, Venezuela. He’s also taught at Tennessee and Indianapolis. Prior to joining AISG himself, he’s had friends who have also been part of our faculty and his best friend has also lived in China. Mr.Kissi is excited to be in China since he’s travelled to many places and says that China is one of the very few places that he had never experienced before. His hobbies include football (in his words, “the one with your feet, not the American one”), play sports and spending time with people that he cares about.
