Korean rapping, acoustic duets, and choreography to Beyonce – this year’s Open Mic Night offered a huge variety of performances by your fellow high school students. For several students, this year’s Open Mic Night was considered “the best, most spirited open mic” they have seen in all of their high school life.
One of the most anticipated performance of the night was by Kunru Du (11) with Rogelio Yao (11) and Nino Lee (11). Junior Kunru Du had dropped his mixtape the previous week, titled “8+2”. The mixtape contains 11 self-written tracks recorded by Kunru Du himself, who performed one of the songs during Open Mic Night.
