As I arrived at the event, there were people pushing and shoving each other to get to the mouthwatering food, vendors trying to control the crowd, cooked food being distributed—I thought to myself, “This place is amazing!”
HKTDC, or Hong Kong’s Trade Development Council, gave its guests a fantastic party. The event was the HK Food Expo, a place where foods from countries all around the world are displayed. Seeing the delicious snacks that were beautifully packaged and shipped from Japan, the United States, Canada, Korea, and elsewhere was really a sight, and the amount of food was stupendous. Nothing compares to an abundance of tastable food; the event was a massive success, not only for companies from Hong Kong, but also international companies . It’s rare for people to see a large event that is entirely dedicated to food that comes from all over the world and make people ravenous just from the scene itself. The duration of this year’s event was only a mere five days, from 8/13-8/17. It is worth your time, so try to make it to next year’s expo!
Next year’s Expo will take place around the same time, from August 11 – 15.
