The assignment was to imitate the graphic designer’s style. Paula Scher’s artwork is mostly shown in the shape of the words, size, and the way the words are organized to form the overall design. I used her design element and included some of her works to imitate her style.

This project really tested our creativity while also restricting us to the style of our chosen designers. Paula Scher’s work requires lots of thought to be put into where to place certain words or images in order for the different elements to fit well in the final product. As a result, it took me a lot of time and experimenting to figure out what fits right and what didn’t.
