A hacker is on campus, so students must enter room 315 in groups of 2 to 6 to complete a series of challenges in order to figure out the hacker’s name within 20 minutes.
Pulse has just announced their newest event! The Halloween event Undeliverable will take place from October 29 to November 2 in Room 315. Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a hacker on campus and YOU have the chance to defeat him anytime during school hours and lunch times. Students may sign up in groups of 2-6 people enter Room 315 and must complete a series of tasks to figure out the hacker’s name within 20 minutes. Teachers and faculty are welcome to join, too! The ticker price is 10RMB per person for one time slot. The fastest three teams can win 80RMB off per person for Prom 2019, a fast food party just for their group, and 120 RMB cash for the group.
Pulse Executive Treasurer Ben K. said that they wanted to do something different from previous years: “We thought of small events that people can do throughout the week. That’s how we got the idea of the escape room. The theme was chosen because someone brought up the fact that our school might’ve been built on top of a graveyard and the idea of a hacker came up when many of our students’ e-mail accounts got hacked.” The two ideas were combined into one overall theme.
Senior Beatrice M. is excited about the event, saying, “There are no similar events before and it’s a new concept so I’m looking forward to it.” Another senior, Sherry K., said, “I like escape room even though I suck at it.” She also hopes that the clues given are set at just the right level, “not too easy and not too hard.”
The 3 fastest teams will be awarded prizes at the end of the week. Grab your friends and participate in the event anytime during the week! Choose a time, and sign up by replying to the email sent out by Tanya Khanna.
