AISG’s Anime Club meets every Thursday and Friday lunch in Ms. Bauer’s room (room 314) to watch anime, participate in anime quizzes, draw anime characters, and discuss anime related topics. This year marks the fourth year since the inception of AISG’s Anime Club. It was initially formed in the fall of 2012-13 by AISG alumnus Kirk Cheng;, however it was officially instated as an AISG extracurricular by current senior Tomoka Yamada at the beginning of this school year. Some of the original members include Kirk Cheng, Martin Chou, David Lee, Lion Lee, Gyeung Mo Kim, Mark Cheng, Jing Yang Lim, and Tomoka Yamada. Starting from the second semester of this year, there will be 2 new coordinators: Jennifer Yang and Zoe Cheng. Katherine Bauer will be the auditor (a person who looks after coordinator’s behavior) for AISG’s Anime Club.
The drawings below are some pictures drawn by the future coordinator, Jennifer Yang.
The Anime Club is a safe haven for anime lovers to come together and discuss the anime and manga that they read and watch as well as share their experiences playing different anime games. They welcome with open arms anyone who shares their interest in anime to join them in their quizzes and activities. If you have spare time and have a passion for anime-related activities and topics, join the Anime Club in room 314 on Thursday and Friday during lunch.
