Shanghai Here We Come! Quiz Bowl

The quiz team also known as the quiz bowl was formed last year. The team started last year to test and see a number of volunteers in the team. Preseason was successful with several members joining. This year is the first complete season of quiz bowl as they plan to embark on their first trip to Shanghai. Ten students representing AISG embark on their journey to Shanghai on November 12. The team consist of high school students and are led by high school teachers Mr. Baier and Mr. Sinclair. Students are separated into teams and answer challenging questions from different subjects. This allows the students to learn something new each meeting. There has been a large amount of hype as the days tick by towards the trip. Let’s see what juniors Jacky Liu and In Hwa Mo have to say about the hype before their first ever team trip to Shanghai. “We’re a pretty new and inexperienced team, but I’m confident we will do our best,” says junior In Hwa Mo. Mo has joined the team ever since it started last year during preseason. Junior Jacky liu commented: “I’ve been with this team since pre-season and I’m pretty shocked by how much it has grown.” The quiz team is about to embark on their first trip to Shanghai where they will be competing against other schools.The school is cheering for you and we hope you do well.
