Sophie’s Suggestions #2

Welcome to Sophie’s Suggestions! Like I promised in the first installment, these articles will be short and to the point. So I hope that you enjoy these few suggestions.

I have never before realized that there is such a thing called SOLID PERFUME! I mean, everyone knows about regular liquid perfume that you spray on. But I had no idea it could be solid. I went to Lush in Hong Kong and stumbled across this ingenious invention and I’ve used it ever since the break. This is especially great because if you ever want to bring along perfume and worry about it spilling, it’s a great product. But I think it’s even better if you are traveling when going through baggage checks, and your 80ml container of perfume (which is 20ml under the limit) is taken away because there are some stubborn people in the world. Now, you don’t have to worry about smelling gross on the plane. Also if there are any guys reading, Dirty by Lush also works as cologne for guys as well as many other solid colognes. Don’t believe me? Look.

Post Malone’s new song is PSYCHO (get what I did there 😉). If you don’t mind your songs being explicit and are into rap/hip hop, I really recommend this song. And if you REALLY like this song, Post Malone has new merch promoting the song (also if you don’t mind spending $50 for a shirt, that’s an option too). Speaking of music, there is a song that is nothing like the one I just mentioned. Why Don’t We is a relatively new music group consisting of five guys: Zach Herron, Jonah Marais, Daniel Seavey, Jack Avery, and Corbyn Besson. Their songs are pretty catchy, but their newest song, Trust Fund Baby  is SO GOOD and I have literally been listening on repeat. If you like pop music, I think you’d like this song.

The final song that I recommend is XXXTENATION’s SAD!. Apparently, it’s explicit but I can’t understand a single word. Despite this, it’s a really great song, and I recommend it if you like mellow songs with un-mellow lyric meanings.

If you are stressed, like some people in this world (me), I really recommend this playlist on Spotify called Peaceful Meditation. I’m not really fond of some meditation and relaxation music because it just bores me and puts me to sleep; however, this playlist is actually really good to keep you on-task if you are working, or just to relax and get your mind off anything you are worried about. If you don’t want anyone to see you listening to this either, just make your session private and enjoy some peaceful meditation.
