On March 25, 2021, high school representatives from Computer Science and Robotics went on an internship at Sanqi (37) Entertainment. The group was mostly consisted of sophomores and juniors, followed by a few teachers such as Mr. Lund, Dr. Walker, and Dr. Lyso.
This was the first time AISG sent its students for an internship at a company. The goal was to elect potential student candidates, thus strengthening a tight bond between AISG and the entertainment giant. It allowed students to pursue their careers and grasp a brief idea of the industry and the company’s working environment.
During the internship, the company allowed students to take a tour of their development offices and their working environment. The office was divided into few sectors, most notably the planning sector, the development sector, and the design sector. The company also provided lounges, cafés, and a fitness gym for their employees.
“After participating in the Sanqi game company tour, I was able to witness the lifestyle of being a software engineer in the real world. It gave me insight into how life was like after education and entering the society,” said Borui C.
Sanqi (37) Entertainment Interactive is an international mobile game developer and publisher founded in 2011 and headquartered in Guangzhou, China. The company publishes and serves video games in North America, Europe, China (Mainland), Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, and several countries in South East Asia.
The company’s mega-hits, “Lord of the City” and “Soul Hand H5,” exceeded 100 million RMB in monthly gross in the third quarter of 2019. Moreover, “Jing Ling Shen Dian,” has also been extremely successful, reaching to top 3 in the AppStore.
The company aims to increase its overseas market and invest in VR/AR and 5G services to provide a better experience of cloud gaming services in the near future.
